SLOW FOOD BRINGS TOGETHER PLEASURE AND RESPONSIBILITY

Join us at our first Slow Food Brisbane meeting of 2017

Thursday, March 2nd at 7 pm (7.00-9.30)

at St Paschals Church, 30 Warraba Avenue, Wavell Heights, 4012.

UNDERSTANDING STINGLESS NATIVE BEES AND APPRECIATING THEIR HONEY PRODUCTION

Guest Speaker: Ross West

The evening promises to be fascinating and informative and will be followed by a supper of delicious tastes and a glass of wine. All that you might have wanted to ask about the importance of the tiny stingless native bees will be revealed by one of our Slow Food members, a hobby farmer and career agriculture expert,  Ross West.  Ross is the owner of bee hives and has been a life long enthusiast of bees and their honey production.

A delicious supper will be provided by Mary-Anne Fraser (committee member)

We look forward to meeting up and welcoming existing members, new members and all interested people.
