A Taste of Sardinia with Angelina Fadda


Angelina will provide a mouth-watering aperitivo alla Sarda and two of the best Sardinian Wines

Friday 2nd March, 5.30 -8.30 pm

Angelina will share her story, knowledge and passion as she takes us on a journey of tastes unique to her Island of Sardenia. She will provide us with some Sardinian delicacies all of which she has personally chosen and some of which she has brought directly from Sardinia. Angelina is a Sardinian professional gourmet travel consultant, founder of Italian Flavours ( Her mission is to be part of preserving small artisan producers and to share her knowledge of Italian regional culture and flavours and slow food presidia.  She grew up in Sardinia where, as a child, she learnt to make Sardinian handmade pasta and many other traditional Sardinian dishes.

She obtained a Masters degree in Gourmet and Quality Food at the renowned University of Florence, where she had the opportunity to deepen her knowledge of the history of Italian gourmet culture and artisan products. After graduating, she worked collaboratively with the Tourist Board in the province of Oristano, her hometown, where she was part of the management of the touristic and public relation office for Italian and international visitors. She worked as a senior quality consultant for 10 years and then decided to put her experience to use, starting her own company, Sardinia Flavour, which quickly became a bigger project, Italian Flavours, a boutique gourmet tour operation specialising in creating unique cultural-culinary holidays in Italy.

Her previous working experiences allowed Angelina to be in contact with the most traditional workshops and the best Italian food artisans, as well as the best Italian wineries and gourmet restaurants – a network of small, precious and sometimes hidden jewels.

After the talk and tasting we will enjoy a Sardinian pasta specialty downstairs in Pizzantica and this will be a great chance to chat further about Sardinia and learn more about the unique gourmet travel experiences Angelina creates as well as enjoy good company and good food.
