A Spectacular Chocolate Taste-Masterclass

This taste-masterclass will take your taste buds on a tour around the world to savour single origin chocolate, each with a different percentage of coco.  Guided by Nikki Ria of Chokola’jyou will learn the ‘bean to bar’ story and how terroir affects the taste of chocolate as well as what the percentage of coco means. Though an informal interview process, Nikki will share her knowledge of chocolate making and share tips of using different types of chocolate in cooking. We will end the tour right here in Queensland, with Nikki’s new range of Queensland Gems: Chocolates made entirely from products grown in the Sunshine state.

Nikki Ria

Nikki Ria discovered her passion for chocolate after attending a local patisserie course, and now she shares that passion via her fine chocolate business Chokola’j (pronounced ‘sho-koh-lah’ – the Mayan verb for ‘drinking chocolate together’). Nikki’s chocolate products push the usual boundaries by working with savoury flavours like pesto basil and balsamic vinegar, as well as many other inspiring ingredients. Made completely from scratch with ethically selected, local produce, Chokola’j’s repertoire goes beyond just chocolates. Nikki’s brownies and slices are equally delicious.
