Supporting Local Producers, Artisans, Chefs
Urban farming – the great unlawning – turning small urban spaces into edible landscapes for good, clean and fair food.
Be sure to book early as spaces are limited.
We invite you to join Slow Food Brisbane at Newstead Brewery where Chef Tay Olsen will serve a two course meal made from products grown and sourced locally.
Starting with a tasting paddle of small batch seasonal Newstead Brewing Beers you will be introduced to the produce of Brisbane’s urban farmers and artisans.
Guest speaker Tay Olsen, chef and Slow Food Brisbane Snail of Approval recipient, will tell us about some of Brisbane’s best hidden food gems. You will be surprised what is being grown and made right here in our own city.
