Celebrating food writing, Slow Food Brisbane in partnership with Brisbane’s only culinary book shop, Scrumptious Reads is hosting the seasonal book club. Join in the discussion as we read books that explore food traditions, history, production and enjoyment eating. We will meet each season to discuss books about food and how it has contributed to our culture, community and environment. 

Winter

Join us for the inaugural Seasonal Book Club meeting where we set the framework for discussion and select future books.  

Continuing the theme of Regenerative Farming, our Spring Book Club meeting will discuss The Call of the Reed Warbler: A new agriculture. A new Earth by Charles Massy.  This book will be available for purchase at our inaugural meeting.

Scrumptious Reads will provide a meeting space and 10% discount on books
