Wild and Slow – A Day Out – Mt Mee

Farm Visit, Pick Your Own Strawberries, Delicious Lunch and so Much More

 Slow Food Brisbane’s Wild and Slow event celebrates our local producers of wonderfully tasty, good, clean and fair food.

Join us on Sunday 14thJuly, 2019 – 9.30 am to … well, you decide!

Our Wild and Slow experience will begin at 9.30 am in Wamuran with a farm visit to Strawberry Producer, Luvaberry, at 65 Ziviani Road, Wamuran.  Join us there for a morning cuppa and you will have the opportunity of tasting 5 varieties of strawberries and freeze-dried products. From 10.30 am you can pick your own strawberries to buy directly from the farm. Courier Mail Article on Luvaberry.

Then, at 12 noon, we will meet at the Mount Mee Hall, 1352 Mount Mee Road, Mount Mee where we will take in the historic atmosphere of the area. We will be welcomed with local Lychee wine and nibbles on arrival followed by a delicious entrée and lunch prepared by Chef Tay from Newstead Brewing and her able assistants. You will also be introduced to the local producers who contributed to this day of delicious good, clean and fair food!
